This weathered statue is found hidden in the depths of the Gloom Garden, protected by the Dark Sentinel. Once the sentinel is defeated anyone kneeling before the statue in human form can access the Covenant of Darkness. Those who make covenant with the serpent are given a humanity, and have a 25% chance to gain a humanity every time they consume one. The serpent urges its followers to seek greater power by following the footsteps of the Anatomist.
