This item allows the wearer to recall a spell of first level or lower that he has already cast once per day. A skilled blacksmith with an arcane ember can upgrade this item at a rate equivalent to armour (first level or lower spells are the equivalent of +1, second level or lower spells are the equivalent of +2 etc). The pearl is given by Orryn when he receives word of his companion Zulquernath.
